About JNG Consultants
Built on expertise. Driven by purpose.
JNG Consultants is a multidisciplinary firm delivering architecture, airport planning, environmental regulatory compliance, and project development services across 16 states — from the Pacific Northwest and Alaska to California, Hawaii, and beyond.
Our story
A firm built for complex, high-stakes infrastructure
JNG Consultants was founded on the belief that complex infrastructure demands more than a single discipline. From remote airfield upgrades to large-scale urban terminal expansions, our work requires deep technical expertise, regulatory fluency, and the ability to coordinate across agencies, contractors, and communities — wherever the project is located.
We are building a reputation for delivering projects that are on time, on budget, and built to last — across some of the most demanding operating environments in the country.
Design principles
A philosophy of practice
Architecture thrives on opportunity — on recognizing potential, making informed decisions, and embracing strategic risks that lead to meaningful, long-term success. Effective practice depends on listening with intention, interpreting with clarity, and cultivating relationships built on trust. When clients feel unheard, collaboration weakens; when they feel understood, the design process becomes more intelligent, more efficient, and more transformative. A successful architect must create environments where clients' voices shape the work and where dialogue becomes a foundation for innovation.
Our work in aviation facility design, airport planning, environmental compliance, project management, and large-scale development is centered on delivering sustainable, resilient, and operationally efficient infrastructure. Aviation environments — complex, highly regulated, and mission-critical — demand architectural solutions that are both technically rigorous and conceptually grounded.
Cybernetics
Buildings function as interconnected systems governed by feedback, adaptation, and intelligent response. Aviation facilities, in particular, behave like living networks: aircraft, equipment, personnel, and environmental forces interact continuously. Designing with cybernetic awareness ensures that facilities remain stable, efficient, and responsive under dynamic operational conditions.
Nature
Natural systems offer models of hierarchy, resilience, and flow. Patterns found in ecology — branching, circulation, equilibrium — inform how airside and landside environments can be organized to support movement, reduce friction, and enhance sustainability. Nature becomes not an aesthetic reference, but a structural and organizational guide.
Metaphysics
Architecture must express underlying order, purpose, and essence. Even within industrial or technical contexts, a facility can reveal its logic: why it exists, how it functions, and what role it plays within a larger system. Metaphysical clarity elevates infrastructure beyond utility, giving it coherence and meaning.
The Structure of Language
Language shapes how humans understand sequence, hierarchy, and intention. Just as grammar organizes thought, architectural form organizes experience. The syntax of a building — its rhythm, transitions, and spatial vocabulary — can influence how people move, work, and perceive their environment. When language is treated as a structural analogue, design becomes more deliberate, communicative, and intuitive.
Together, these principles support an architectural approach that is operationally precise, environmentally attuned, and philosophically grounded. The goal is to create aviation facilities that behave intelligently, respond to human and mechanical systems, and express a quiet clarity — architecture that feels inevitable, as though it has discovered what it was meant to be.
Firm leadership
Behind the curtain
JNG Consultants is led by deep domain expertise and decades of hands-on project experience across the United States.
Jason Gamache AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
CEO / Principal Architect
Jason brings 20+ years of professional practice and licensure across 16 U.S. states to every project he leads. A Virginia Tech B.Arch graduate, AIA member, NCARB-certified, LEED accredited and a founding board member of the International Living Future Institute, he serves as JNG's CEO / Principal Architect and aviation facilities specialist — overseeing planning, design, and execution of airport and airline infrastructure from early programming through construction administration. His project experience spans Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, and Hawaii, covering cargo sort facilities, airline maintenance hangars, terminal improvements, and master plans for major carriers and airport authorities at locations like HNL, LAX, SFO, PDX, ANC, and SEA, to name a few. Jason is known for leading multidisciplinary teams through complex, large-scale projects with a focus on FAA compliance, operational efficiency, and long-term value.
